FULL CARD LIST–

LUDWIG, “Monster Slayer”
Mid 30’s, male.
Begins with Item Cards “” and “.”
Special: Player may attack once for every opponent within their current Location card.

Why do I tread upon the most infamous grounds of the undead, during the darkest night of the most unholy month? Only to cure this blighted land of the foul stench that has wormed its way into its soil.
Ridding the earth of these monsters is all the cause I need.

JOSÉPHINE DE AUMALE, “Wronged Heiress”
Late 20’s, female.
Begins with Item Cards [].
Special: Player may attack once for every opponent within their current Location card.

The Duke of Aumale had the unfortunate gall to become assassinated without a legal heir, leaving his estate to his bloated and boorish sister-in-law Elise. With none left to vouch for me, I was unceremoniously cast to the curb, like a common vagabond! But in these ruins lies proof of my blood! The Lady Genevieve, favored concubine to the Duke, rests interned within this cemetery. And around her neck lies a famous engraved amulet that matches mine…

CAIT, “Treasure Hunter”
Early 20’s, female.
Begins with Item Cards [].
Special: When drawing an Item Card, Player may instead draw two cards, choose one, and place the other at the bottom of its respective deck.

They call me a thief an’ a common robber, an’ that’s all right with me, ya kin? At the en’ of the day, I’m the one with the pockets so full of gold I’d sink a schooner so much as set foot on it! Some fights for honor, some fights for love…me, I just keep me eye out for the next shiny ring to sell, an’ the next warm seat at the inn!
Come along, I’ll buy ya a drink!

[], “Student of Lore”
40’s, male.
Begins with Item Cards [].
Special: When rolling to draw a Lore Card, Player may treat their roll as if it were +1.

Oh, me? I’m just a student, you could say. A student of musty old books and tomes. But do you know what I’ve learned? That the most interesting bits of knowledge–the only things really worth knowing, you see–are never just on a stand in somebody’s atrium for every commoner to piss on. They’re hidden away in private collections, secreted within sealed vaults, or even buried in the tombs of their authors and guarded by the undead…
That is, if the church doesn’t find and burn them first.

[], “Diviner”
50’s/60’s, female.
Begins with Item Cards [].
Special: When drawing an Encounter Card, Player may instead draw two cards, choose one, and place the other at the bottom of its respective deck.

The veil between worlds is thinnest here, at this time, in this place, on these grounds. Do you seek knowledge from beyond the pale? Do you wish to know of your lost loved ones, or even what awaits you on the other side? Then now is the time to be asking.
The dead walk, ghosts wander, and ears will listen, should you find your voice to speak.

[], “Bounty Hunter”
Early 30’s, male.
Begins with Item Cards [].
Special: Player receives +X to their rolls against an active opponent, where X is the number of shields that opponent presently has.

Killing monsters on principle is all well-and-good for some of them, I suppose. But fer me, I need a reason. One that makes my coin purse jingle a little more, you understand. These staggering skeletons and [] I’ve heard about? Yeah, you can mop those sops up if you fancy.
Me…I’m gunning for whatever big guy’s behind it all, and his head in my bag.

[], “Concerned Priest”
Early 30’s, male.
Begins with Item Cards [].
Special: On their turn against an active opponent, Player may instead choose to roll a dice. On a result of 5 or 6, the called opponent loses their next turn.

[], “Cemetery Caretaker”
Early 30’s, male.
Begins with Item Cards [].
Special: Instead of drawing a Location Card, Player may instead choose to remove an empty Location Card already in play and shuffle it back into its respective deck.

What? What are ye looking at me that way fer? Every month it’s the same deal with “heroes” like ye–stomping all over my grounds in the dead of night, knocking over headstones, smashing statues, digging up graves, and still ending like gutted pigs at morning’s light. Yet I’M the one that has to set everything right again! Well, this time, I’m going with along with ye. If I can’t move ye from yer antics, mayhaps I can at least stem the harm to my lots.
Hey! Watch the grass!
